Report from the opening of the exhibition “3D Digitization of Polish Sacred Heritage in the USA”

On January 27, 2023, in the building of the Center for Innovation and Advanced Technologies of the Lublin University of Technology, the opening of the photographic and multimedia exhibition entitled “3D digitization of Polish sacred heritage in the USA”.

The vernissage was attended by numerous guests from the Ministry of Education and Science, the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, the Maria-Curie Skłodowska University, the Center for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin and the ECCC Foundation (co-organizer of the exhibition). The most numerous group were, of course, the employees of the Lublin University of Technology headed by the vice-rector prof. Wojciech Franus, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Dr. Edyta Łukasik, and Director of the Library of the Lublin University of Technology, Dr. Katarzyna Weinper (host of the exhibition). The team of the ECCC Foundation (project applicant) was chaired by the foundation president, Ryszard Woś. All the authors of the photographs included in the exhibition were also present: prof. Jerzy Montusiewicz (exhibition curator), prof. Marek Miłosz (leader of the scientific expedition to the USA), Dr. Elżbieta Miłosz, Dr. Jacek Kęsik and Małgorzata Przewoźniak (leader of the project, the ECCC Foundation).
The exhibition will be open to the public until March 10, 2023.
