Photo exhibition from the first expedition – vernissage
On January 27, 2023 (Friday) at 13:00 there will be a vernissage of a photographic exhibition from the first expedition to the US: “3D Digitization of Polish Sacred Heritage in the US”.
Place: Center of Innovation and New Technologies of the Lublin University of Technology, 3rd floor, building 13 on the campus map.
The exhibition will be open until March 10, 2023.
The curator of the exhibition is Prof. Jerzy Montusiewicz.

Data processing after the expedition continues
Work is underway on the processing of 1.5 TB of data obtained from the first expedition. The first results are already online.
First scientific expedition to the USA
The first scientific expedition to the USA, carried out as part of the project, operated in Chicago and Milwaukee on October 9-23, 2022.
As part of the expedition, a team of scientists conducted research in 6 church buildings built by the Polish community in the USA.

The project “Research into the national cultural heritage of the Polish community in the USA and the creation of digital memory collections” is implemented in 2022-2024 by the ECCC Foundation under the program of the Minister of Education and Science: “Science for Society”, area: “Humanities-Society-Identity”.
