On May 3, 2025, as part of the celebration of the Day of Polonia and Poles Abroad, the opening of the exhibition “3D Digitization of Polish Religious Heritage in the USA 2022-2024” will take place in the chapel of the palace – Zamoyski Museum in Kozłówka. The exhibition was created from photos documenting the implementation of the project entitled “Research on the national cultural heritage of the Polish diaspora in the USA and the creation of digital memory collections” (no. NdS / 545613 / 2022 / 2022) is carried out in 2022-24 by the ECCC Foundation as part of the program of the Minister of Education and Science: “Science for society”. During the exhibition, a lecture will be given by Dr. Hab. Eng. Jerzy Montusiewicz, prof. of the Lublin University of Technology.

Promotion of scientific monographs
On April 3, 2025, an author’s meeting and promotion of two monographs devoted to 3D scanning of churches built in the USA by the Polish diaspora took place. The event was hosted by the Hieronim Łopaciński Provincial Public Library in Lublin and co-organized by the ECCC Foundation.

The guests of Nowe Radio were: prof. Irena Rolska, John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, prof. Marek Miłosz and prof. Jerzy Montusiewicz, Department of Computer Science, Lublin University of Technology. During the meeting, the results of the scientific expedition to the USA and publications with collections of digital collections of memory of the cultural heritage of Polonia were returned to, and an invitation was given to the Thursday presentation of the collections.
Promotion of the monograph on 3D scanning of Polish churches in the USA
On April 3, 2025 (Thursday), at 5:00 p.m., there will be a promotion of two monographs devoted to 3D scanning of churches built in the USA by the Polish diaspora. The co-authors of the monographs are employees of the Department of Computer Science of the Lublin University of Technology and the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.

Photographic exhibition at Litewski Square in Lublin
On July 22, 2024, an open-air exhibition: “3D digitization of Polish cultural heritage in the USA 2022-24” was opened at Plac Litewski (near the Europejski Hotel) in Lubin. The exhibition presents the work and achievements of the team implementing the project “Research on the national cultural heritage of the Polish diaspora in the USA and creation of digital memory collections”.
The exhibition will be available for 3 weeks.
