New Radio Lublin – program

The guests of Nowe Radio were: prof. Irena Rolska, John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, prof. Marek Miłosz and prof. Jerzy Montusiewicz, Department of Computer Science, Lublin University of Technology. During the meeting, the results of the scientific expedition to the USA and publications with collections of digital collections of memory of the cultural heritage of Polonia were returned to, and an invitation was given to the Thursday presentation of the collections.

Promotion of the monograph on 3D scanning of Polish churches in the USA

On April 3, 2025 (Thursday), at 5:00 p.m., there will be a promotion of two monographs devoted to 3D scanning of churches built in the USA by the Polish diaspora. The co-authors of the monographs are employees of the Department of Computer Science of the Lublin University of Technology and the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.

Photographic exhibition at Litewski Square in Lublin

On July 22, 2024, an open-air exhibition: “3D digitization of Polish cultural heritage in the USA 2022-24” was opened at Plac Litewski (near the Europejski Hotel) in Lubin. The exhibition presents the work and achievements of the team implementing the project “Research on the national cultural heritage of the Polish diaspora in the USA and creation of digital memory collections”.

The exhibition will be available for 3 weeks.

3rd scientific expedition to the USA 28/04-13/05/2024

The third scientific expedition of the ECCC Foundation to the USA has begun, as part of the project “Research on the national cultural heritage of the Polish diaspora in the USA and the creation of digital memory collections”. The expedition will operate in rural areas of Wisconsin and Chicago (Illinois).

The expedition team:
Prof. Marek Miłosz (Lublin University of Technology); Prof. Jerzy Montusiewicz (Lublin University of Technology); Dr. Elżbieta Miłosz (Lublin University of Technology); Dr. Jacek Kęsik (Lublin University of Technology); Tomasz Rolski (Catholic University of Lublin) and Małgorzata Brzyska (ECCC Foundation).
